　悪魔はもとより彼ら自身でもあるが、彼らの座る台座こそ存在の本質をなしている。地上の３次元的人間存在に内包する‘悪’……その台座にはつねに何者かが座っている。そしてその台座に座る者は、人間同士の戦争をこよなく愛している。

　ところで前述した陰謀力とは、たえず陰謀を遂行する類いまれな能力をいう。

　ちなみに陰謀とは、その名のとおり謀（はかりごと）そのものであるから、それを企画する関係者以外には知られないよう慎重に取り扱われる。それゆえ、慎重に秘匿された企てを指弾する目的で論じられるいわゆる陰謀論は、状況証拠や巷の噂や都合のよい情報の選択等によって練り上げらたものとなる。したがって、そのアプローチは証拠能力に乏しく挙証性が低いことから、妄想にすぎないとして片づけられる運命にある。

　あえて繰り返すが、これは当然のことであって、アプローチすべき対象はもともと秘密裏に、事が漏れないよう慎重に取り扱われているから、部外者にとっては情報収集が困難なうえに、かりに証拠を得られたとしてもせいぜい断片的なものにとどまる。したがって、それらを繋ぎあわせるものとして「推理」と「想像力」が必要となるが、結局のところその試みは「謀略」の存在を推論する展開とならざるをえない。そこで、探られ嫌疑をかけられる側としては、いつものようにであるが、待ってましたとばかりにその脆弱性を衝くのである。

　これが、いわゆる「陰謀論」として嘲笑とともに一蹴されている論説に共通する事情である。では、「陰謀論者」と嘲弄される者たちは、なぜそのような脆弱な突っ込みをあえてするのだろうか。彼は退屈な日常生活から逃れたくて、怪しげな推論の世界を心躍るゲームにみたてて淡い興奮を得ているのだろうか。それとも彼は、突っ込まれる者たち（したがって謀略を否定する者たち）がよく言うところの「精神病質」な者たちだろうか。

　だが彼らは本来的に、動かぬ証拠をつかめる立場や環境には置かれていないから、せいぜいのところ声高に警告を発するだけに留まってしまう。そしてその範囲に留まっていれば、放置され無視される。だが、ひとたび確たる証拠をつかんで発表しようものなら、「狂人」として即座に身柄を確保されたのち、強制的に精神鑑定を行なう施設に収監され、その後間もなく自殺または不審死としてこの４次元時空間から退出させられるだろう。言い換えれば、ロゴスが肉体をまとい睡眠の補充により意識体として４次元時空間で活動できる状態を、物理的に消去されるだろう。謀略を秘密裏に遂行するうえで都合の悪い存在は、それが人物であれ事柄であれすみやかに消去するのが、陰謀の世界の原則のひとつである。なぜなら、その消去も陰謀の範疇だからである。
